(1)The picture shows that a cow was drinking water from the bottle with a straw while another crow asked if why it didn’t do as the book told them. From my perspective, the moral of the picture is that we shouldn’t blindly trust what books tell us and we should develop our own ideas.
(2)There is no doubt that books contain the essence of the thoughts our ancestors. They serve as a bridge across the times channeling the past and the present. It’s undeniable that reading books remains an effective and efficient way to absorb great ideas so as to enrich our knowledge and broaden our horizons.
(3)However, we should never overdo anything. It’s unwise to blindly trust everything in the book. As was mentioned in an ancient article written by a Chinese literary giant, books should be read with reservations. Books are products of the past. With the rapid development of the modern society, a large quantity of ideas have long been out of date. Take Steve Jobs as an example. He made the best of his innovation to design the user-friendly iPhones which are now popular with the general public. Only by inspiring new constructive ideas can we inject vitality to the evolution of the whole mankind.
(4)The simple picture reflects a profound moral, which reminds us of the importance of innovation. It’s up to us to practice our mind to contribute to the whole society.
