Dear Eric,
I’m writing to offer you some information about the coming basketball match between a visiting team and our school team.
The basketball match is scheduled to be held on the afternoon of March 16 in the stadium of our school. In order to properly prepare for this match, all players of the school team are required to practise hard with the guidance of our coach. We will gather at 4:30 pm on Thursday and Saturday afternoons to receive training. I believe we will surely perform brilliantly in the match after making full preparations.
I hope we can receive training together on schedule and unite in the coming match.

The more she learned, the more confident she grew. Every time she found a new possibility, she felt sure she would be able to get her car up and running. She didn’t think she knew more than the repairmen, but the difference between her and the repairmen was that she needed her car to work. She needed to go to groceries and she missed her freedom to drive anywhere. Moreover, she had to admit that she was starting to see her car as more than a car. They were starting to form a bond.

The car has already travelled half a million kilometers, and she wants to make it get through the next half a million.
