Experience Farm Culture
With the purpose of experiencing farm culture, all the students in our school went to Yangguang Vineyard to help the farmers harvest grapes.
The activity was held on Friday afternoon. No sooner had the students arrived there than they began to pick grapes in groups. Then, they set about packing the gathered grapes and loading them into the trucks. Though they were tired, the students never stopped until all the grapes were carried away.
It was an extremely meaningful activity, from which the students can understand that they shouldn’t waste food.

Paragraph 1:
I knew I had to try harder. I told him my name, Joey’s name, where I lived, how I was a mother of three, and how his life was so valuable and the betrayal was just one tiny part of it. When the train passed, I let out a sigh. By this time, Tommy calmed down and he was touching Joey mildly. “He’s a sweet little thing, isn’t he?” he said, his mood lightening.
Paragraph 2:
Sensing the danger passed, I suggested he phone his parents. At first he didn’t want to, but I continued persuading, knowing another train could come any time. “Go on,” I said. “They’ll be worried about you.” He made the call and they arrived soon after, shocked and upset. We have become friends since then. Now we meet, take Joey for a walk and talk every week. We are bonded by that terrible time on the bridge. I want him to live a happy and meaningful life.
