應(yīng)用文寫作(One possible version)
Dear Andy,
How is it going? I'm writing to invite you to go to a newly built theme park, Ocean Kingdom in our city.
In this park, we can not only see various marine creatures, especially some rare marine animals such as penguins and polar bears, but also enjoy their wonderful performances. Besides, we can learn more about oceanic culture in the science museum. Please remember we will meet at the school gate at 10:00 am this Sunday. I'm sure we will have a good time there.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
讀后續(xù)寫 (One possible version)
Paragraph 1:
I was depressed that I had to play a mean character. Is that what the director thought of me? Mr. Jacobs took me aside when I told him I didn't want the part. “You can do this,” he said, “I know you're nothing like Lucy, but you've got a great voice and this is what makes you unique. It's not about being you on the stage. It's about being Lucy and it's only you that can bring Lucy to life.” Clearly, he saw something in me that I did not.
Paragraph 2:
Yes, he was right. During the performance, I successfully brought Lucy to life, which made the audience shocked. I realized what my mother had told me was right. There are so many things in life that I can't control, such as my name, my height and the failure I have experienced. But I can still search for what really makes me unique. And I discovered my hidden talent and then I studied hard for it and earned my degree.
